My family & I love to eat here they have great food and service. They have a pleasant atmosphere. The employees r great they all care and go out of their way to make sure ur comfortable & get what u want..

The building on the outside is like the golden gate. The inside reflects the depressing slums of Harlem. Pretty cheap on dinnerware. Paper/styrofoam plates and cups, plastic utensils. Very dated like. Very very dated.. food it very overrated. I only gave 3 stars because my former boss ate here almost everyday.

The original Heads country. Love the all you can eat ribs on Friday nights but in reality you can't go wrong with any of their menu items. It has become a tradition to eat here during our yearly hinting trips to the area and in all these years no one we have brought has left disappointed.

You just can't beat their barbecue and their sauce is the best in the country.

There is a Rib Crib next door, however i like small home town business. The food is by far better here and the price cant be beat.the potato salad is to die for, not to mention the sauce used for bbq is made local. Great place.

Always a favorite. Consistently good barbecue. Meat quality is lean and good quality every time. Lean and quality is very important to me. We purchase brisket, chicken, and/or ham by the pound and take home and prepare sides around it, make sandwiches, or add to salads. I'm not a rib eating person but sometimes we pick up ribs for others who really like them from here. We go through times when we get meat here almost weekly; especially if we are busy. I don't know anyone who doesn't think their barbecue meats are good.

Love me some Danny's BBQ no other BBQ as good.

First time visiting Danny’s the wait staff was very friendly and helpful for being my first time. The ham, brisket and baked beans were delicious! Wasn’t a huge fan of the hot links (tasted more like sausage than a traditional hot link) and the ribs, but overall was still great! The guy slicing the meat was on it and did a great job handling customer requests.

Very friendly place. Just to put it mildly, it's nice to see races of color and Lack of Color, getting along in the Midwest. Which is not always the way others in this country would want you to believe. I always am very satisfied with their service and the way they prepare their food, and especially their fries! Thank you very much.

The best BBQ around! Can't beat the price. The family deal has so much food and is fairly cheap. I drive two hours one way at least once a month to eat here.

Had high hopes for this place because this is where head country BBQ sauce originated from. Service wasn't great had to wait a few minutes to get order started then the amount of food received wasn't worth the price paid. Not a fan of brisket being weighed before being placed on my plate and only getting two ribs when ordering rib and brisket combo. Sides were small and didn't get the option of extra pickles,onions or peppers traditionally served with BBQ. Sauce was the highpoint of the meal. Don't think I'll be back to try again honestly due to price and food rendered. 16-17 Dollars for this plus drink.

It was OK but not good enough to return. I had 1/2 chicken, no smoked flavor. K f C much better flavor. Actually chicken was not fully cooked, red blood inside. Sides were good. Very quiet place, no thank you from anyone when you leave. The only reason i gave 3 stars was because the potato salad and slaw were good but very small protions.

Dannys is the best BBQ Oklahoma has to offer. Tasty, tender Ribs, brisket anything else you order. Special attention to catering. Tail gate party with Danny's food was a huge hit. We are picky about our BBQ and we say Danny's is the BEST!!!!

I love Danny’s! Fantastic barbecue! Never been disappointed here. We’ve used them several times to cater events for us. This is a classic Ponca City experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Ponca.

Not a big fan of barbeque but this was very good.

Great food. I love BBQ and brisket. I got the half lbs of brisket with two sides and a drink. You could cut the brisket with your knife. Plenty of BBQ sauce with various options. All are good. The location was extremely clean. Not only the dining area but the kitchen and restroom.Staff was also friendly. Highly recommend stopping by and trying some great food.

The beef brisket is pricey. All the fat was cooked out of it so it was dry and you could cut it with a fork. The bbq ribs were tasty and juicy. Although they were pretty skimpy on the meat. Overall I would go back for a treat but buy less food. A half slab and 1 lb of brisket ran me $32

Head country is the best seasoning and bbq ..out there..i travel and never leave home with out it..everywhere I go I take oklahoma with me..and when I grill I use the seasoning..and boys I get folks hooked on it.from South dekota ,to bay City texas ,to lousianna..stillwater boy sharing the great state taste ..ty head country for the years

Love the atmosphere.... But... dry brisket..cold.... over done okra... too much for so little..... Service is backwards.... takes forever I stood for 10 mins at register..... may try different next time but idk...Bbq sauce Wayyy too much vinegar and Worcestershire....

We had our Turkey smoked for christmas it was the best. Will be doing it again. Loved it.

Don't miss this amazing spot when you're in ponca city. Everything we had was delicious and the prices were great. Doesn't matter what you like, turkey, ribs, hot links, deviled eggs, everything was superior quality. I hope my travels bring me back.

I am usually not a fan of hot links, but these are the best anywhere. Great food and value. Very courteous staff. Clean and comfortable place for lunch. Always eat here when work takes me to PC.

It was amazing!! We hadn't eaten there in quite awhile but it was my daughters birthday. So I took her out to all you can eat ribs on Friday...DELICIOUS!!

The food here wasn't anything like I was expecting. Prices were expensive, portions were small, and place was dead around lunch time. I should have known that it was dead for a reason. I was actually there 7 years ago and I had the same experience. I was hoping it had got better, but it didn't. I won't be back.

Great food for a fair price. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves which was quite pleasant. All the sheep in the country are still afraid to get out and eat. Lol. Ribs weren't quite fall off the bone done but everything tasted great. Thank you.

Food was good had the sliced brisket sandwich, baked beans for side. Brisket wasn't anything special, meaning it wasn't different than any other bbq restaurant. Baked beans same, reminded me of pork and beans out of a can. Pricing $5.99 sandwich, $1.59 side and $2.09 drink ....to me was high priced based on the quality of BBQ given. My opinion put all this together for $7 to $8 and it would be a good deal regardless of flavor. I give it 3 stars based on pricing and food didn't stand out like any other BBQ restaurant.

We were in town for a meeting and decided to try Danny's BBQ. It was great food and service. Definitely will come back next time we are here.
